The Austin comedy boom of 2023 fundamentally transformed the Texas comedy scene. I was there before Joe Rogan opened his now-iconic Comedy Mothership. Once those doors opened, the scene erupted into what we see today—a global beacon for stand-up comedians. 

The city quickly became a magnet for talent from all over the world. New stars were born: Casey Rocket, Kam Patterson, Ari Matti, and many others carved out their voices and fan bases in this electric new landscape.
